Phnom Penh – Rattanakiri – Siem Reap

Experience the daily life of the Cambodian people traveling through provinces along the Vietnam border to the north highlands of Cambodia and hilltribe villages.

Day 1:  Arrive Phnom Penh and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon visit the Silver Pagoda and Independence Monument.  An evening sunset cruise on the Mekong River.

Day 2:  Morning departure for the sleepy Mekong River Kratie Province. In the afternoon visit Sambok district where the rare freshwater Irrawaddy dolphins make their home in the Mekong River,  north of Kratie.

Day 3:  Morning transfer to Sambok Mountain and the 100-column pagoda in Phnom Sambok district. continue to Ratankiri Province.

Day 4: Visit Van Say District by boat to see Tompourn ethnic villages.
 Continue by car to visit Beung Yeak Laoa and Ka Chanh Waterfall.

Day 5:  Morning transfers to Kampong Cham province and transfer to your hotel.

Day 6:  Morning visit the colonial buildings, Phnom Pros Phom Srey and Wat Nokhor and drive directly to Siem Reap. Arrive Siem Reap and transfer to to your hotel. Afternoon visit to Siem Reap River and a boat ride on Tonle Sap Lake to visit the floating villages.

Day 7:   Start your exploration of the Angkor Wat complex with an elephant ride from the Southern Gate of Angkor Thom to the famous Bayon complex, Baphuon Temples and  Elephants and Leper King Terraces. Day 8:   Transfer to Siem Reap Airport  (B)
