Day 1: Arrive Luxor airport and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon visit to the Temple of Karnak, with its beautiful Temple of Amen-Re and Hypostyle Hall, the largest hall of any temple in the world. Continue to the imposing Temple of Luxor.
Day 2:
  Morning visit to the West Bank, the famed Colossi of Memnon and the beautifully terraced Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Continue to the imposing Valley of the Kings, which contains the secret tombs of New Kingdom Pharaohs.  Afternoon at leisure. (B)
Day 3:
 Transfer to Luxor airport. (B)

TOURS FROM LUXOR

DENDERAH and ABYDOS         Full day            
Drive to Denderah to visit the Temple of Hathor, goddess of love, music and wine. It was built in the 1st century BC and is the only circular representation of the heavens found in Egypt. A Greco-Roman temple first initiated by Ptolemy III with numerous additions by subsequent Roman Ptolemaic rulers. It also houses a famous painting of Queen Cleopatra. Continue to Abydos to visit the Temple of Seti I, viewing the famous list of kings and some of most beautifully painted reliefs from Pharaonic periods.

NOBLES TOMBS                          Half-day                
The northern hills of the west bank are filled with the rock-hewn tombs of princes from the Old Kingdom to the Roman period. Inside, the tombs are decorated with vivid wall paintings showing scenes of everyday life, hieroglyphic biographies and inscriptions telling of the noblemen's journeys into Africa.
