This journey takes you to four of our worlds most exotic and relatively unknown countries to western visitors. Each country is so very different from the other but all share similar spiritual and cultural traditions. Myanmar and Cambodia home to two of humankind’s most magnificent archaeological achievements –without a doubt two of the most precious jewels in Indochina’s crown - the Temple Plain of Bagan in Myanmar and Angkor Wat in Cambodia. Vietnam, land of the Ascending Dragon, whose beauty surprises all and whose jewel lies within the heart of its people, whose warmth and hospitality transcend history. Laos, the hidden jewel, - virtually unchanged for half a century, rich in history and described by Rudyard Kipling as Asia’s last Shangri-La. These are The Jewels of Indochina.

MYANMAR
Day 1:  Arrive Yangon and transfer to your hotel.
Evening visit to Shewedagon Pagoda.

Day 2:  Morning Flight to Bagan to visit the Plain of Bagan, Sightseeing tour includes a visit to Shwesandaw, Dhammayangyi and Ananda pagodas.

Day 4:  Flight to Mandalay. Sightseeing in Mandalay includes the Shwesandaw Monastery, Kuthodaw and Kyaukdawgyi Pagoda.

CAMBODIA
Day 6: Transfer to Yangon airport.  (Flight to Siem Reap. not included).  Upon arrival in Siem Reap, transfer to your hotel and start your exploration of the Angkor complex. Experience the beauty of Angkor Wat at sunset.

VIETNAM
Day 9:  Time permitting visit Tonle Sap Lake. Transfer to Siem Reap Airport. (flight to Ho Chi Minh City not included)
Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City. enjoy a city tour before transferring to your hotel.

Day 10:  Excursion to the Mekong Delta, journey by ferry and sampan to experience the life of the people living on the river.

Day 11:  Transfer to the airport for morning flight to DaNang . Visit the Cham Museum and China Beach. Excursion to the delightful town of Hoi An.

Day 12:  Morning departure by car across the Hai Van Pass to Hue. Afternoon excursion to the mausoleums of Tu Duc and Khai Dai.

Day 13:  Morning boat ride on the Huong Giang (Perfume River) to Tien Mu Pagoda. Continue by car to the Imperial Palace.
Transfer to the airport for afternoon flight to Hanoi.

Day 14:  Morning city tour of Hanoi. Cyclo ride to Hanoi’s Old Quarter.

LAOS
Day 15: Transfer to Hanoi airport.  (Flight to Vientiane not included).   Arrive Vientiane and transfer to your hotel. Visit Sisakhet Museum, Ho Paleo, Tjatluang Supa, Patuzau and Buddha Park.

Day 16:  Flight to LuangPrabang.   Transfer to your hotel.  Visit Wats Visunnarad, Mai, Sen and Xiengthong.  Enjoy a sunset view at Wat Prabat-Tai.

Day 17:  Boat on the Mekong River to Pak Ou Cave with a visit to Shan Hai village. After lunch visit Ban Phanom village.
