Day 1: Arrive Bangkok and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Sightseeing includes a tour of
Bangkok visiting the three most
famous monasteries in Bangkok: the Marble Temple, Temple of the Reclining
Buddha and the Golden Buddha Temple, concluding with a visit to the Grand
Palace.

Day 3: Early-morning departure by road to one of the most authentic floating
markets, the colorful Damnoen Saduak, boat-ride around the market.
Afternoon at leisure.

Day 4: Excursion to see the magnificent ruins of
Ayutthaya,
the former capital of Thailand and Bang Pa-In,
the former Summer Palace. Board a luxurious river-cruiser for lunch
which will be served while returning to Bangkok on the Chao Phraya River.

Day 5: Flight to
Chiang Mai., upon arrival
transfer to your
hotel.

Day 6: Visit Doi Suthep Monastery, situated on a mountaintop with
splendid views of the surrounding countryside.

Day 7: Visit Mae Ta Maan elephant camp. After a
demonstration of how the elephants are trained to haul lumber in the jungles
and forests you will take an elephant ride through the forest followed by an
ox-cart ride passing rice fields and small farms. Participate in an
exciting bamboo-raft trip down the Mae Tang River.
