Day
1: Meet at your Ankara
hotel, or upon early morning arrival of your flight at
Ankara Airport. In the
morning visit the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, which is housed in a
restored Caravanserai, and the Mausoleum of Kemal Ataturk, the founder of
modern Turkey. After lunch, proceed to Cappadocia. Dinner and overnight in
Cappadocia. (LD)
Day
2: Full day touring in
Cappadocia; visit Gorme Open-Air-Museum with its fairy chimneys and dozens of
cave churches decorated with unique frescoes depicting various scenes from the
Bible. Visit Zelve Valley, the natural Citadel of Uchisar and the pottery town
of Avanos.
Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia. (BLD)
Day
3: After a
morning
visit to the underground city of Kaymakali, continue to Agzikarahan
Caravanserai, located on the Ancient Silk Road. Upon arrival in Ankara
transfer to your hotel or to Ankara airport. (BL)
