Day 1 Arrive St Petersburg, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2 Discover the city of St. Petersburg including a visit to Peter and Paul Fortress, the city's oldest building and the burial site of every tsar since Peter the Great. To get the flavor of St. Petersburg walk down Nevsky Prospekt, a long and straight shopping and sightseeing avenue.
Day 3 Transfer to Peterhof. The imperial summer palace is a collection of several palaces, containing furniture, paintings and art items that belonged to different generations of Russian tsars. In front of the Big Palace the beautiful fountain with many tiers and ornamental golden statues offer an amazing sight. Return to St. Petersburg by hydrofoil.
Day 4 The Winter Palace is perhaps St. Petersburg’s most impressive attraction. Many visitors know it as the main building of the Hermitage Museum. The green-and-white three-story palace is a marvel of Baroque architecture. Founded in 1764 when Catherine the Great purchased a collection of paintings from Berlin. The Hermitage displays a diverse range of art and artifacts from all over the world throughout history.
Day 5 Travel to Pushkin. Designed by Rastrelli, the centerpiece is the vast Baroque Catherine’s the Great Palace, with its golden spires and luxurious interiors. Most famous is the stunning Amber Room, the panels made of amber were stolen by the Nazis and later returned to Russia. Continue to Pavlovsk, a park of woodland, rivers, lakes, classical statues and temples which are some of the most exquisite in Russia.
Day 6 Transfer to St. Petersburg Airport or train station.
